ATMAC Mechanical is seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice/Helper Pipefitter to support our commercial HVAC installation team. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills while working alongside experienced professionals on complex systems including 2-pipe and 4-pipe heating water, chilled water, and boiler systems.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of HVAC piping systems for commercial projects
- Support journeymen with layout, measurement, and pipe assembly
- Work with 2-pipe and 4-pipe chilled and heating water systems
- Assist with boiler system installations
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and piping schematics
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–4 years of experience in pipefitting or mechanical trades
- Familiarity with pipe materials (copper, steel, PVC, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of soldering, threading, and pipe joining techniques
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Understanding of job site safety and PPE requirements
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction from senior tradespeople
Preferred (but not required)
- Enrollment in or completion of a pipefitting apprenticeship program
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
